Betsy Farris, OD

Betsy Farris, OD, completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Montevallo. While at the University of Montevallo, she was a four year member of the volleyball team. Dr. Farris went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry.

Dr. Farris is a current member of the Alabama Optometric Association, the American Academy of Optometry, and the Beta Sigma Kappa, the International Optometric Honor Society. Dr. Farris is from DeFuniak Springs, Florida, where she grew up around her father’s optometric practice. In her spare time Dr. Farris enjoys being outdoors, trying new restaurants, going to the beach, and spending time with her husband.
