Jacob Krausz, O.D.

Dr. Jacob Krausz, O.D. is a board-certified optometrist with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. He earned his Associate of Science from Enterprise State Community College, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Troy University, and went on to complete his Doctorate of Optometry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Optometry.

Dr. Krausz is a proud member of both the American Optometric Association and the Alabama Optometric Association. He enjoys working with patients of all ages and has a particular interest in specialty contact lens fittings, including scleral lenses and orthokeratology.

Outside the office, Dr. Krausz treasures time with his family. He and his wife are the proud parents of four children—one son and three daughters—who keep life busy, joyful, and full of adventure. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and continuously learning something new.
