Julie Strickalnd, OD

Dr. Julie Strickland, OD, is an Enterprise native and graduate of the University of Alabama at

Birmingham School of Optometry. She began her education at Enterprise State Community College before earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, magna cum laude, with a minor in Philosophy from UAB.

Dr. Strickland provides comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages, with experience managing ocular disease, fitting specialty contact lenses, and myopia control. Her clinical training included rotations at the Tuscaloosa Veterans Affairs Medical Center and community clinics throughout Alabama. During optometry school, she served as Class Secretary and is passionate about giving back through service and continually expanding her knowledge to provide the highest quality care.

Outside the office, Dr. Strickland enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and staying active. She is honored to return home to serve the Wiregrass area with compassionate, personalized eye care.
