Martika Swain, OD

Martika Swain, OD is a native of Florence, AL. She graduated the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor chemistry. She received her doctorate from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry. Dr. Swain is a member of the Birmingham Area Optometric Society. She is a proud and active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc where part of the mission is to be of “Service to All Mankind.”

Dr. Swain has been happily married to her husband for 10 years and they have three children. The Swain’s are active members of Rushing Springs Baptist Church of Lincoln, AL. They hold leadership positions as Deacon and Deaconess. Dr. Swain loves spending time with her family, watching movies, and reading in her spare time.

Dr. Swain provides full-scope optometry and eye exams in Albertville, AL. She is passionate about ocular disease and contact lenses and the overall health of eyes. Dr. Swain has been serving patients all over the state of Alabama since 2016.
