Veronica Oltmanns, OD

Veronica Oltmanns, OD, is a primary care optometrist in Pelham, AL, Dr. Oltmanns, is originally from Newport News, Virginia, received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia and Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (Salus) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While in school, her externships included Langley, AFB, Capital Eye Care in Fairfax, VA, and The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, VA. Dr. Veronica Oltmanns has lived and practiced in Virginia, Florida and Alabama. She and her family have lived in Birmingham for 11 years and they are happy to call it home.

Dr. Oltmanns is a TPA/DPA certified optometrist and has over 20 years of experience providing comprehensive primary eye care, including routine eye exams, contact lens fittings, diagnosis and management of a wide range of ocular pathological conditions, and co-management of cataract/refractive surgery. She is a member of the Alabama Optometric Association, Birmingham Optometric Association, and the Birmingham Women of Optometry.
